Antioxidant and cytotoxic activity studies of sulfur containing glycine imine derivatives MCF-7 and DLD-1 cell lines

Objective: To investigate the antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of sulfur-containing glycine imine derivatives MCF-7 (human breast adenocarcinoma) DLD-1 (colorectal cell lines. Methods: This study examined (25-200 µM) via DPPH, metal chelating reduction methods. Furthermore activity MCF-7, MCF-12A (normal epithelial) DLD-1, CCD-18CO colon fibroblast) were with MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide) RTCA (Real-time Cell Analysis) assays. Results: The assay showed significant results (71, 77 40% respectively) as compared to knowing synthetic (trolox; 95.45, EDTA; 97.06 %). Reducing was found be very low standard compounds.Compounds shown moderated by DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) activity, IC50 value ranged from 91 150. values (100 analyses similar. Conclusion: that compounds had selective activities, we also they effects on cells.
